BlackBoxRO Client 1.0 Released!

The final version of our client is now available.

Even though our server hasn't opened yet, it is now in a beta stage and you can already log on to test our exclusive features, or just to have fun =p.

Of course all acounts will be wiped at the end of the beta stage.

How to get BlackBoxRO Client 1.0

You have 2 choices to download our client:

I: Light Version

If you already have a RO client installed on your computer and don't want to download a whole client, this option is for you.
You just download our custom files (16.15 MB) and then make a copy of the sdata.grf file and the BGM folder from your other RO Client.

Light client installation tutorial:

Step 1:

Download the BlackBoxRO Light Client 1.0 (16.15 MB):

Step 2:

Extract it wherever you want (Note: if you have vista, you'd probably better NOT install it in the Program Files folder)


Step 3:

Go to your other RO Client folder, and copy the following things:
-sdata.grf
-BGM folder


Step 4:

Paste them inside of the BlackBoxRO Client folder.


Step 5:

Run the patcher (BlackBoxRO.exe) to get the latest updates.


Step 6:

Play!


II: Full Version

This is the full version of the client, you just download it, extract it, and you're done.
If you don't have any RO Client installed on your computer or don't want to bother with copying files from another client, you should choose this =p.


Full client installation tutorial:

Step 1:

Download the the BlackBoxRO Full Client 1.0 (1.2 GB):

Step 2:

Make sure the 3 parts are in the same folder, and double-click on the first part to extract the client wherever you want (Note: if you have vista, you'd probably better NOT install it in the Program Files folder)


Step 3:

Run the patcher (BlackBoxRO.exe) to get the latest updates.


Step 4:

Play!

NOTE TO ALL OF YOU PEOPLE WHO HAVE THE BETA VERSION OF THE CLIENT

You don't need to reinstall anything. Just get the new version of the patcher to update your client.
